Andaman Water Sports - Diving inside the Bay , Details for booking the activities

Andaman would be the best place to experience water sports on different level, as Water in Andaman is totally different from other places in India.

There are plenty of water sports and rides available in Andaman and Nicobar. Most of the water activities done at North Bay Island or Havelock Island. Best is to do major water activities in Havelock Island. In Havelock these activities are done at elephant beach.To reach elephant beach you have to take ferry tickets from havelock jetty point. Tickets will cost you 1000₹ per person. You can contact any agent or cab driver to get tickets.

Scuba(Must Try) : Cost around 3500-5000₹ based on type and deal you get. There are two type of dives shore and boat. Both doesn't require any swimming skills. For scuba there will be one diver per person but for boat dive the only thing is you should be comfortable to jump in water backwards. All will be there to help you its not proper jump they will help you to go inside.

Sea Walk: It can be done at elephant beach. Tickets has to be booked in havelock at jetty point. it's a different experience than scuba so you can this too in your to do list. It will cost you 3500₹ per person. This is easier than scuba as you will be able to breath normally. They provide equipment and for each person there will be one diver.

Snorkeling: It will also be done at elephant beach. 5 minute complimentary snorkeling will be included in your ferry ticket to elephant beach. If you are interested then you can add 20 min more after reaching at elephant beach. It will cost 1000₹ which will includes photographs too. Shore snorkeling is the easiest activity to se the coral and fishes. So if someone have some kind of health issue or fear then you can consider this activity only than Scuba and Sea walk.

Parasailing: It will cost you 3200₹ without photo and videos. If you want you can add by paying 300 extra. (Personal suggestion skip this activity if it doesn't fit in your budget as parasailing can be done in other beaches of India which will be cheaper).

 

Night kayaking: You can book this by contacting any agent, direct or online also. But booking by agent or direct by negotiating will be better. It will cost you around 2500-3000₹ per person. 

To see bio luminescence total dark is required. So if it's near to full moon don't do it you will not be able to see anything. Although you can enjoy kayaking it will be done in early morning or in evening. In early morning one you can enjoy sunrise with mangrove forest tour. 

Water rides: There are all types of water rides available in elephant beach like banana, sofa, jet ski, dragon. All rides will cost you 600₹ each. You can buy ride packages at havelock jetty point like for 4 or 6 rides. If you don't want to do rides there you will get full refund for unused rides.

Apart from these there are some boat rides like speed boat, glass bottom boat and semi submarine. If you are not doing scuba and all then you can have semi submarine or glass bottom boat ride without getting wet😜. If you love speed boat and going to do parasailing also then no need to but ticket for speed boat, you will get that experience in parasailing itself.
