How to Reach Alleppey

By Air

Nearest Airport for Alleppey is  Kochi which is around 80 kms from Alleppey. From airport you can get cab to reach Alleppey.Check your flight from your city. Most of the major cities are connected with Kochi. Trivandrum Airport is also an option. You can take trains from both Trivandrum and kochi to Alleppey.

By Train

Alleppey can be reached by various trains as it is in route of trains to Trivandrum.

By Road

From neighboring cities you can find the public transports for Alleppey.

Back waters: Best way to enjoy backwaters is to take a houseboat for stay. Alleppey backwaters are also popular honeymoon destination. Houseboats includes stay, food and backwater sightseeing.For price you can check with agents. Houseboats can cost 6k-50k depending on type and facilities of boat.

You can also take Shikara or normal boats to explore backwaters. Shikara will cost you around 1000 per hour(Whole boat).

Alleppey Beach: It is situated near Alleppey railway station.

Marari Beach : It is around 11 KMs from Alappuzha town.
